Thanksgiving+Not Yet Christmas=

Mental overload

So as I was walking through the stores I noticed something 3 days before Thanksgiving, which I notice every year, but this year, it struck me.  The Christmas music blaring everywhere.  Now don’t get me wrong.  I think Christmas is a grand time of the year, but my least favorite part about it is the music. It plays everywhere.  On my favorite radio stations, in every store. EVERYWHERE. I am going into mental overload thinking about it.

However, I did finish up my Christmas cards…here’s a sneak peek:

I will share the finished project, once I have a finished project.  This is definitely a work in progress and there are several trains of thought as t where this could go.

While going through the stores I was planning out Christmas gifts.  Planning is the key to not overspending.  I have scoured the blogs and found some great DIY projects.  Who knows which ones I will actually do.  My weekends from now till Christmas will be full of DIY fun.  I am going to be putting together a series on my favorite gifts and some of the great DIY projects I have seen.  Stay tuned!
